South Eastern Welsh Springer Club
Open Show 26th June 2021
Thank you to
the Officers and Committee for the honour of judging your club show, and to the
exhibitors for such a lovely entry.
Although a lot to squeeze in on one day and a much later start than many
expected I thoroughly enjoyed my day and I hope you did too. I was very pleased with my winners and thank
you all for staying into the evening to complete judging.
Also, a special
thank you to my steward Lisa. Drafted in when Julie asked if I could bring a
steward I don’t think she quite realised what she was letting herself in for.
Finally, thank
you for my lovely gift of the engraved glass, I feel that it needs to be
christened very soon. J

1st Clarke’s
Tigerrock Magic Roundabout NAF. 11months and what a sweetie. Nice shape,
pleasing head and ears to a lovely length of neck that sits into well laid
shoulders. Lacking in forechest but with good bone and neat feet. Level topline

totally together on the move and at the moment moves best when run a little
slower. Best Puppy in Show.

1st Jones’ Trosley
Tamoshanta. 15mth, preferred his outline and cleaner movement in this
class. Good head & ears, nice neck

to develop. Good bone and feet. Lovely
level topline and well set tail. Straight coat of good colour. Moved well with
reach and drive.
2nd Hankins’
Julita Rainmaker with Woodelrond. 13mth and another of good shape and
proportions with pleasing head. Slightly better forechest than 1 but again
spring of rib needs to develop. Level topline and good tailset although a
little proud of it at times. Well made fore and aft, moved well.
